#1 PC SCRIPTWRITING SOFTWARE GOES MACINTOSH

Cinovation, Inc., makers of Scriptware, the world's leading word-processing program for scriptwriters, today released Scriptware for Mac 1.0.

"Regardless of what happens with Apple, Hollywood is still a die-hard Mac town," says Scriptware's creator and Cinovation's President, Steven Sashen, "and we're thrilled to give Mac writers the ease, speed and power they've been asking for."

Scriptware automatically formats and paginates scripts to the odd and exacting rules that Hollywood demands. Says Sashen, "Whether you're writing film, TV, play, advertising or radio scripts, if it doesn't look right it doesn't get looked at!" Scriptware eliminates the need for macros, special key commands using it's proprietary Scriptype typing system. Long-time typist for Paramount studios, Joan Bennett says, "With Scriptware, I get more done, faster and easier than I ever have before."

Many writers report increased creativitity since they only have to worry about the ideas in their heads. Rafael Yglesias, screenwriter of "Fearless" and "Les Miserables" says, "Scriptware makes writing almost painless, and always successful."

Scriptware is currently the software of choice at Universal Studios, Carsey-Werner Studios, Warner Brothers Studios and Paramount Studios and for over 80 TV shows and movies, including The X-Files, Millennium, Cosby, Murphy Brown, Cybill, Deep Space Nine and Veronica's Closet.

A recent episode of the nationally acclaimed show, The Computer Chronicles, awarded Scriptware its "Software Pick of the Week." In a comparitive review, The Journal of the Writers Guild of America West said: "Scriptware is the best overall program for scriptwriters on the market today." Screenwriting guru, Syd Field also calls Scriptware "The best."

Scriptware for Windows and Mac is available in retail outlets throughout the English-speaking world or direct from Cinovation, Inc. at www.scriptware.com or by calling (800) 788-7090 or (303) 786-7899.

Hint of the Week
Don't forget that you can add reminders, suggestions, questions, and ideas to your script with our Notes feature. Just press Ctrl-N or click on the Note speed button (Windows version only), then type your note.

Then, you can print a report that's every note you've written and the scene it's attached to. What a great way to keep track of your progress during re-writes! To print the report, select Print from the File menu , then select the Notes radio button, then select the Print button and take a look at what comes out of the printer!
